MCW Golf Day - 20th May 2008
Following the success of last year's Charity Golf Day
organised by MCW Group, we have organised another Golf
day, this year to be held at the prestigious Llangollen
Golf Club. Again the emphasis is on fun and light hearted
entertainment.
The day will begin at around 11:30am with bacon rolls,
tea and coffee on arrival along with a putting competition
for all who wish to take part. The first Tee time is
12:30pm. Your allocated Tee time will be given to you
once you have confirmed your booking.
Each team consists of four players, playing a four
ball format over 18 holes. This is your opportunity
to spend a pleasurable few hours in the fresh Welsh
countryside air pacing the fairways of Llangollen Golf
Club knowing you are raising money for Hope House Hospice.
Llangollen Golf Course is one of only a handful of
Welsh courses that holds Gold Medal status in the HSBC
rankings. Nestling on the banks of the River Dee and
overlooked by the glorious Welsh hills and the ancient
fortress of Dinas Bran the green manicured fairways
and superb greens attract golfers from far afield.
After the final putt is holed, teams can retire to
the 19th hole for a well-earned drink, where a carvery
will be ready along with delicious desserts served.
To enhance your experience of the day the grand finale
comes with the prize giving for the winning team along
with a presentation raffle with the proceeds going to
the allocated charity.
If you would like to take part please complete the
booking form and
return to Gemma Thomas along with payment.
